From now on I'm pretty sure speed challenges will be for paying members only. They're only for users 'Once in a blue moon'.

Speed Challenges have always been a "Member's Only" privilege; like Ben said, I think the admins were just having a little fun by having a Speed Challenge that was open to just registered user's because the title of the challenge was "Once in a blue moon", which has become a phrase that means "very rarely".
Also, Speed Challenges are unpredictable and have no set schedule. For a while they got themed around holidays, but people began to "expect" them, so now they "just happen". |

| Some people want to be members but are credit card free by choice or other reasons. How do you go about becoming a member without a credit card? |
