I haven't designed a website in ages and the last few times I have it's been editing templates.

Now I want to design my own website the way I imagine it to be. It's not overly complicated. I could do it in Photoshop (The way I'd like it to look) but I'm not sure I can get the HTML to work the way I want it. Was wondering if there were any recommendations as far as software for designing. WYSIWYG type software that would also show the related HTML code for learning...I don't know.

The site is for English tutoring for kids in my area. I plan to print out flyers and have the website address with the relevant information, photos and videos. I took a look at templatemonster.com and didn't find anything that I liked. Hopefully someone can show me the path...

Click me

If you want to code and design from scratch, I personally use dreamweaver..

The link above is to themeforest.net, a site full of templates.. HTMl, WP, WYSIWYG, ECOMMERCE, etc..

Dreamweaver is pretty good as far as showing you the code while your designing the page...well at least it used to be...i use homesite myself which is pretty old but i like to hand code most of the things i do to stay compliant with all of the browsers...

I've tried Dreamweaver but I'm having some difficulty in the 'learning process'.

This is perhaps over simplifying the way I would have 'liked' to work, but something like this: Have a blank page, place the photo/media elements on the page, give those elements properties such as 'when clicked go to:' etc. In other words, place all the elements on a blank canvas and have several pages (For me just 4) and export to create the page for upload.

I've just gotten out of bed, I'm going to hit Youtube for some Dreamweaver tutorials...
