Before the start of this challenge I was guessing my entry would score anywhere between 5.2 and 6.2 so I'm really pleased it's exceeding that! This entry's a bit different to my usual (in my view) so the feedback's very encouraging - even if I'm not 100% happy with the photo (but then I am here to improve, and a start point's always needed to do that =)).

Figured I'd get my ugly votes eventually. The last 2 were a 4 and a 3. Guess that's what "average" is all about. Still running high 6.8's, but that's down from 6.92. Still pretty sweet.

This is heading for a PB for me too (though posting this early is probably the best way to ensure it will drop). This would also be my first +6 in a Free Study (my 23rd attempt)

Well it did reach as high as 6.57 at about 90 votes but at the rate it's being dropping I guess I can kiss my PB goodbye. Still I'm very happy with it's score and the lovely comments.

Usually I see my score settling into a very narrow range by the time 25 votes have come in. This time it has been quite a roller coaster ride. From memory (votes and scores approximate):

10 5.8
20 5.2
40 5.7
60 5.2
100 5.4
Currently:

Wonderful to have so many comments -- the positive sentiments make me expect that average score from commenters will be quite a bit higher than average score overall. Interesting to have comments contradicting each other about whether particular aspects help or hurt. Glad to have evoked such a range of responses.

My first wishlist and also looking to be a pb (not counting my shuttle shot)! Far better than my expectations so I guess I need to shoot like this more often =). Even went above 6.5 at one point, although I don't mind at all that it's dropped a bit again.

Didn't make very many comments, wont really get time to (I'm at work!). Gave out two 10's, and they're not the kinds of photos I usually give a 10 to... lots of 9's and 8's as well. Love the free studies, they have some of the most beautiful images :)
