I want to add a watermark to my images but have the option to remove it when I want to print it. Is the only option to have 2 of the same photos? One watermarked the other not? Or is there a way to save the file so that it can be removed later? I know that keeping the layers there will allow this, but it also jacks up the amount of space needed. |

if you use lightroom you can add the watermark as an option when you export. |

Same with Aperture, you can export with a watermark, but the file in Aperture has no watermark. I would look in your export program of choice to see if there is such an option.
Oh, and the reason why you wouldn't want the option to remove the watermark later is because that defeats the purpose of adding the watermark in the first place (some other person could just as easily remove it). |
