I'm a gear freak...either going to add the Nikon D4 or the Canon 1Dx to my arsenal by the end of the year. Not sure which yet. I'm thinking about putting up my 1Dm4 for sale but I'm not sure about pricing. Don't want to take too much of a hit, but if that's inevitable then depending on how much of a hit I may keep it regardless.

Anyone have any ideas?

You'll get $40 for it, I'll do you a good deal and take it off your hands for $50 now :)

I don't know how much you're expecting, but bodies do keep fairly good value, though not quite so much as lenses. Check ebay / gumtree etc, see what used ones are going for, that should give you a good indication.

I'd check over at Fred Miranda too. First one I found- //www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1077916

That's a pretty new body, so a good deal of value is retained. They begin to drop fast at a certain point though.
