Dear Langdon,
Thank you for creating DPC. It has expanded my horizons in every conceivable direction, improved my photographic eye and my technical skills, added fabulous people to my life, taken me on adventures, forced me out of my comfort zone, been a sounding board/science experiment/therapy session, made me get off my butt, encouraged me to visit unusual places JUST to take pictures of them, talk to people, and sent me into bankruptcy trying to finance this fine habit. I am especially grateful because it was through DPC that I finally found my calling. |

To Drew and Langdon, thanks for making this wonderful site waaaay back in 2002, it's hard to believe how far this little place has come! Remind me to buy you a beer next time I'm in your neck of the woods, think I still owe you one from DC.
To my fellow and former SC, thanks for holding it together and keeping the site on track. It wouldn't have been possible without your work behind the scenes... and the occasional muckdongs ;)
To the members and users at large, thanks for making this community one of the best on the web! DPC wouldn't be anything without your photos, your comments, your dedication and love for all things photo. You've made these last 10 years a real blast!
Here's to another 10 and then more! :D

Seven years for me on here, has it really been that long? I cannot remember how I came across this site, but I am so glad I did, because I've met some great people, have been encouraged to want to learn more, to push myself into entering challenges, knowing I'm up against some great artists there.
A big thank you to those involved in creating this site, and to those that maintain it.
I've had some great laughs at some of the comments that appear in some of the forums.
