When I first check my score at roll over I was sitting at two votes with a score of 5.0000
Then I hit the update button. Updated to three votes with a score of 5.6667 (nice)
Walked away for 15 minutes. Came back and hit the update button and received another vote. WOW!

Wow!!! I just looked at every photo in the challenge and commented on a few (but likely won't vote because I rarely vote on challenges I'm participating in), but there are some really GOOD ones!!! Congratulations everyone!
Ok... not that it really matters after only 10 votes. It really means nothing this early, but here's my 10-vote happy song :)

A goal I have this year is to take a bit more risk in my challenge entries. Went to bed last night with a 6.88 after 9 votes thinking maybe the risk paid off and this image might have some real promise. I expected a drop by morning, but not really to this extent.

I really wanted to enter this challenge, had a great idea for it, and thought I would get a really great shot, but unfortunately my model (aka lovely wife) was unavailable for the shoot and I had to work late. Sigh.
Anyway, I can't say how vehemently I agree with the above statement! I've only been here a month or so, but man did people come out in spades for this challenge. I am really impressed by the shots, and I can't wait to see the surely tense results, the photographers responsible for all of these wonderful images, and it's certainly a learning experience for everyone!
