Play it with your feet, and yes it's a ball.
Now, what country/region of the world is it used? |

I'm going to be gone for a few hours so I'll give it to David.
Here it is with some reference to size. It's a kick ball used in South East Asia. This one was given to me by my dad in 1965 and came from Thailand.

Funny, I was looking at this object today at school (where I had taken it to show the kids) and thought a macro of part of it might be good for this game... though it might be a bit difficult. Sorry, I still haven't got around to paying the membership - I was thinking of doing it before the end of the month, if my paypal account is still valid.
I'm off to bed, but I'll give a hint: I've used a similar object in a previous month-long side challenge. |

I worked with a bunch of guys from Thailand when I lived in Los Angeles, they played a game with this kind of ball. It used a high net like volleyball, but players could only use their feet. |

Here's the full bird .... Sheila the Emu, a bigger sister to Sharlene, whom some of you may remember from a pet side-challenge. ;-Þ Cuttooth gets the gong.
