Hi,

My mom has no pictures of my grandmother as she lives across the country and my grandmother has no interest in getting professional portraits done. Since my grandmother is in town visiting for Christmas I thought it would be a perfect time to get some portraits as a gift for my mom. I took these today and want to know what you all think...I hope my mom will like them but I need another pair of eyes on this.

Thanks so much!!!

P.S. It's probably best if you "view full size image" when it takes you to the image page.

Photo gifts are always well recieved by moms :) I have photo gifts wrapped and ready for my mother for X-Mas as well. I am sure they will go over very well, they are great images to boot!

She is a very elegant looking woman. Excellent work on them. These just scream "triptych" though. Can you hear it? "MAKE US INTO A TRIPTYCH!"

or maybe it's my voices again, but in any case, i think your mom will be thrilled/

hmm....never done that. Could you take them and show me a quick example of how you'd do that?

I'd take the main couch one, and put the rest "in frames" on the wall behind her! You don't have these in your workshop, so they have the protected thing over them.

eta: Nevermind, you have them full size. Let me play for a few and I'll post something soon.

Of course, you could make the frames match the decor a little better...

I think you did a wonderful job on a beautiful woman. Your mom will be overjoyed.
