I know everyone on here is creative so I need some help. We have a Christmas card shoot next weekend and my wife is wanting ideas that are fun. I'm drawing a blank and a Google search is useless for funny Christmas card ideas. This will be in a loft/studio and their are three of us, My wife, 2 year old son, and me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

My favourite so far was "Catching Santa". I put a clever "Gary Larsonesque" title on it.
My wife's favourite so far was this Benneton (SP?) style shot.
I have to get off my butt to do this year's!

My favorite card to receive is from a family who sends the same one, same setup, every year, but with changes as they add children, dogs, etc., to the family. I have kept them all & every year look thru them like a kind of slow time-lapse photo. |

I did this one a while ago, and it is a pretty easy approach.
Just composite a few pictures over a shot of some ornaments. I wanted to use the bloat tool to get the fun house reflections that glass globes make, my wife wisely vetoed that idea. |

You could go contrarian and get up in your Hawaiian shirts and other beach gear, maybe with a "Wish You Were Here" message if you live where there's snow ... don't forget the zinc oxide sunscreen on the nose ... ;-) |
