Yeah... 70 degrees is getting pretty far down there... If you're planning on attending, you may want to bring both a heavy winter coat and a full (heavy) wetsuit..

Click the the area of interest to zoom in to smaller sectors, then move ahead 12 hrs at a time. Click or mouse over the grid to put that info on the map. Looks like Sat is going to be an awesome day.
They say that if you don't like the weather in Florida, just wait ten minutes and check again. |

Hey, I just heard back from someone from way back... rox_rox...I got in touch with her through Facebook and she says that she might be able to make it.
Roxanne has been really busy lately with work and her new house and hasn't been on DPC for awhile, but it would really add to the GTG if she does make it.

I just sent out an invitation to a friend of mine who takes photos randomly. She texted back with a most likely no because she works and goes to school but she did want to go. Maybe she will call in sick or something. I would be taking her with me so it wouldn't be two cars. I'll let you all know as soon as I know if she is going.

Har de har har... I got home at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, and right now it's a balmy 19. Remind me why I came home...?!?
It was great meeting up with you guys over the weekend... I wish I could have been there for the actual GTG! |

| It was great hanging out with fellow photographers today, shooting the breeze, and taking photos:-) Cory thank you for being a such a great host. Wish I could have joined everyone for the evening half in Wynwood district - perhaps another time. Will go through and process some of the pictures as soon as I can. |

From our photo walk 20 is the net total keepers from 168 shots. These are first 10 from the beginning and the end of the photo walk. The middle of the walk will come later. Love the second one which I titled Wheels.

Finally got back online after a really hectic weekend. Cory, thanks for being a great host. Everyone else, thanks for coming, it was a blast hanging out and shooting with you! I'll hopefully be able to get some shots online in the next couple of days, but don't hold your breath ;)

Thanks  Manic. You found a lot of things that I totally missed seeing.
Let's do this again sometime, and maybe check out  Yakatme's back yard, the road toward Flamingo.

That's one of the fascinating things about GTGs - even though we were all in the same places with the same opportunities, we all ended up with a very different selection of final shots.
As for another GTG, sounds good to me. Someone just needs to pick and time & place and see if anyone else is interested :)
