Tripod and Head, my old tripod is worn and just not up to the task.

Not boring. When I ordered my Manfrotto 055XProB tripod and 808RC4 head a couple of years ago I couldn't wait for it to show up as well. Enjoy your new equipment...when it shows up. :)

I went with the Induro CT213 and their Gimble Head, I am mostly excited about the head. The only way I can use my current tripod with my 80-400 is to lean on the camera body to help keep it from shaking when the camera fires. My old tripod is about 20 years old so I think a new one is long overdo.

Nice...sounds like you dropped some serious bills there. I'd be even more excited than. LOL. Hope it works great for you.

My wife loves it, she said my Birthday, Anniversary, and Christmas presents are on that truck and to not expect anything else. Kind of a win win!
