DrAchoo's thread about calendar's reminded me that I have been meaning to let you guys know that Blurb now offers notebooks as part of its book line-up. Follow this link to find out the details on how to do it.
I've done a couple and been very pleased with the results. The first one was of some pictures I took during a week with my cousins up at Pinecrest Lake near Sonora, California. I used some family snapshots, landscapes, pictures of birds, etc. to make a notebook that I gave to family members as a memento of a really good time. I was so pleased with that book's reception that I've done a second one, with pictures roughly related to food, that I plan on passing out at Christmas. The price goes down with volume purchases, and if you use the coupons that Blurb keeps offering, you can keep the price pretty reasonable.
I did check out a couple of other notebook offers that were cheaper, but they only let you put your picture on the cover of a spiral bound notebook that is like the ones you buy for taking notes at school. Blurb's let's you put at least twenty pictures in a nicely bound soft or hardcover book. I was very happy with the picture quality.
FWIW, I have no affiliation with Blurb. |

Great idea! Thanks for the link. I've never used these guys, but I have knocked around the idea of making a book for the family. (Who else would want one...omg!) I will have to give this a try! Thank you! |

i made photobooks of my kids for my mom and mother-in law and grandmother. they absolutely loved them. I use My publisher and have been extremely happy with the results, plus they always run promotions, you could set up a book and wait for the buy one get one free or another offers, they constantly run them. i essentially got 4 copies of the same book for $50.
i have decided i am going to do it every year at Christmas. |

I have 2 books printed at Blurb, and I'm very happy with the results.
From Iguazu Falls , I made 4 copies, one for each couple of friends who went with us. They really love it.
For calendars I used Snapfish last 2 years and I'm very happy too.

Thanks for the reminder about the notebooks :) I had seen those, they are a nice addition to the Blurb product portfolio. |

Blurb has come out with a weekly planner. It doesn't have as many photos in it as I'd like, but it's a start. Just thought you guys might be intereted. 8) |
