ROFL! I think this is an awesome idea. They really should institute this at least for celebrities in the US. Thoughts?

I notice the photo is attributed to Getty Images. Marriage would be a little more interesting if you had to renew your license every year, like you do for your car. An new source of tax revenue. If you forget to renew, the marriage officially expires & the state takes possession of your assets. Not serious. Just whimsy.

Interesting idea worthy of further exploration. But, what would you do if you've had children within those two years?

children, i didn't have any children, i have no idea what your talking about. he brought those heathens in the house in the middle of the night and swore they were ours!!! i had no part in it i tell you!

a sad statement on human society. marriage has become a throw away institution.

I read another article on this somewhere else, but don't remember now where, but in that article it was stated that all those pesky things like children, asset division, etc. was written into the contract. In reality, not much different than a prenup, but without the need to divorce.

The kids could do what many of them already do now--go to Grandma's house. They could then avoid all the hoop-de-dooo of a custody fight. (PS I divorced in 1974 & have no kids)
