Somehow I suspect this view of the Aurora Australis (you can also download an animation) taken from the ISS a few days ago would have been a winner.

Outtake entry
Which did not score well, but got my favorite comment in months;"Didnt know what I was looking at untill the vertigo kicked in!" from Airsnap. Thanks Adam, you made the challenge worthwhile for me.

I had fun playing with my new camera (Sony NEX 5N), knew they weren't going to trouble the scorers too much but fun anyway :)

I totally get what he meant. He pretty much nailed the whole feeling of your photograph. =)
