They are good - the pictures are of medium quality, but for what you pay, they work out well. I have given out about 60 of my first 250 so far. :)

Just an FYI... they have "VistaPrint" advertising on the back side of the card, which is why they are "free". (I used OvernightPrints for my cards.) |

I ordered some a while back, just for kicks (I think it was like $6 for shipping?)
They were just OK in quality, but hey, they are essentially free. I don't think people would pay all that much attention to the advert for the website on the back; it is pretty discreet. They would be useful for casual cards.

I just ordered a set... 4.99 shipping, 21 day delivery for 250 cards. I saw that the back of the card had a little logo on the bottom, no worries. Will post back to this thread (if it still exists) when they come in and let you know how they look. Cheers

Not really a "business" card, but it's what I hand out to friends, family and people I meet. I print 3 on a 4x6 photo card on my i950. Works great.

| ive ordered two sets of cards from these guys and they are great! if you upgrade to glossy the quality look much better then just the free ones. You can also pay a small fee to get rid of the logo on the back. Highly reccomed these guys. |

I get my business cards from these guys and they are very nice. I went to a local print shop, paid twice the money and they were crap compared to these. The logo and ad on the back are hardly noticable.

They're decent cards. I too ordered a set and upgraded to get rid of the logo on back. If you don't really have an established logo they'd be great. They have some interesting designs and the printing is of good quality. They are a little bit lighter weight than what most people associate with business cards.

For the upper one, try moving your name/title up a bit so it's on the same baseline as the word Canon. Or else lower it way down by the other type. Right now it's just enough off the other baseline to be a bit distracting. I like the overall concept a lot otherwise.
Which card would be "better" somewhat depends on what kind of photographic specialty you want to promote most.

I agree, with the first one try to offcenter the word Canon and your name. But Definitely the first one. Love it! It just says... Photographer! :)

That works perfect for a business card. Stunningly effective I must say.

I got a box of Vista cards a few years back when I wanted some cheap cards to give out my contact details. This was before I went self employed.
I went for the cheapest option which means the BACK of the card has Vistaprint's own promotional text on it.
For cards to be used in a commercial context I'd pay extra for a blank back.
I like your first design best, agree with suggestions to adjust text position re Canon logo.
Quality of cards was fine in my opinion. (Non glossy)
Occasionally I am given a business card which is TOO flashy - ie it's laminated or metal or clear plastic or such - and my only thought is - I'm not giving you my business - you obviously charge too much if you're able to waste money on business cards like these.
A business card is a tool - it should have an attractive design, sure - it's a marketing took too after all - BUT it's primarily about communication.
I personally don't like those that try too hard!
Let the skills of the person or the quality of the product do the selling...

Some discounts on other Vistaprints products. Magnets, notecards, postcards, etc.

I have ordered a number of items from them since my post above.
First (recent) order was 1000 each of 2 almost identical business cards for Pete and I. They made an error in printing and customer service was excellent in getting it corrected and reshipped immediately. I can still use the problem cards in situations where I'm dropping a card to enter a prize draw or give my name to some mailing list at a show without writing it down.
Then I got 500 cards to market my DPC Prints portfolio.
The above were all including glossy finish and I think they look absolutely great.
Recently I used the free offers to get some magnetic business cards for the DPC Prints card, some larger magnets for our business and sticky mailing labels for our business - just paid the postage on these.
All good.
