The following 2 films were shot at 7,000 frames per second with a super slow motion camera. It creates some spectacular footage.
A lady bug taking off.

Reminds me of a Johnny Carson show I once watched where this large beetle suddenly flew. Even the person who brought it in did not know it could do that.
I like the fluid one. Fluid dynamics is always amazing to me.

can you imagine what kind of score one of those water drop stills would get on DPC. |
