Its always nice to see an 8 from the first vote, then the update button gets worn out and you start to see the score fall, never mind, just hope it holds!

I had a great comment and a score of 1 to follow - go figure. Maybe they were meant to give me a 10, and accidentally gave me a 1, lol, I wish.

I submitted an image which I thought would be 6+. It meets the challenge and I like it very much. Not sure why it's scoring like this, although it may be a language issue. Not everyone reads the challenge description (sigh), but it does say, "...don't forget that there are multiple meanings to these words!" I probably underestimated the number of voters who missed the meaning because English is not their first, nor second, language. It's a tough row to hoe.

oh, woe is me... i coulda/woulda/shoulda went with a nice clean and soothing silverware abstract (and there are some nice ones entered), but went for the odd and extreme and am paying for it...

I would go anytime for the odd and extreme!!!! Especially if the alternative would be a 6+. Unless you collect scores.
