Imagine entering that in an expert editing challenge here and then getting a validation request.

It must have been popular, lots of links lead to a dead page. |

What are the chances of being able to upload 300+ RAW images before the 48-hour deadline expires? I'd guess this might be one occasion where leniency need not apply ... ;-) |

I think a pre-emptive validation upload would be in order. |

Be fun to do one of these, and fail to include ONE image in the upload and see if SC actually finds it; sort of a "Where's Waldo?" test... Nah, that'd be mean...

I would run the uploaded images through the same software, edit per the submitted (detailed) instructions, then place the resultant image in a separate layer over the entry; toggling between the two layers will readily reveal any discrepancy.
Just a suggestion though, to anyone actually contemplating such a "quality control test," that the site rules and TOU are quite broad when it comes to the actions available when we determine that there has been a *deliberate* attempt to "cheat" or otherwise disrupt the normal functioning of the site. Besides, if a "thought experiment" was good enough for Einstein ... ;-) |

I'd love to see you try to precisely duplicate the placement of 300 images so the overlay toggle actually proves anything, LOL :-)
Still, I'll agree to let it remain a "thought experiment", friend... :-) Besides, I, personally, don't have the patience to create that composite in the first place :-)

Lets see, they said six hours for a save on one of his images, times 150 entrants, divided by the number of SC....that's still a lot of processing time. |

I like it when photographers put there editing steps in the details area below the photo. Could you image the details in such a picture?!

I've got 100mbps up.. Figure it shouldn't take more than a half hour or so.... Now you poor SOB's having to deal with it, that's another story... ;) |
