Hi All, I am a new paying member to this challenge site and I was wondering if a few people could take a look at the five pictures I have added to my portfolio and let me know what you think of my photos. I feel like I have some decent photos there but wanted to hear from some people other than my friends tell me there unbiased opionion. Thanks in advance.

i like your lonely boat and storm is coming photographs the best. do you know how to use photoshop to dodge and burn? I know a few people here can do it really well, and it could probably make that storm is coming photo amazing.

I agree with hsteg - the Lonely Boat and the Storm Coming pics are the best. Storm Coming would definitely look great with the clouds made more threatening!
The Beach is weird--usually a bright umbrella livens up the scene but this one seems to detract from the consecutive rows of vertical fence, vertical grass, more vertical grass...
The garlic bunches at the flea market would have been a great shot as a close-up.

I must have been typing at the same time as Laurie! Great minds really do think alike lol. I left you some comments on a couple of my favorites. You have a really good start to do a lot here. I think the first two are not as "exciting" and have a more "snapshot" look to them, but the other three draw you in with great colors and composition and subject matter. Welcome, enjoy, and try to stay sane with the DPC bunch! Good luck!
Edit: Agree that burning the skies might really be a great thing to try here.

I appreciate everyone taking a couple minutes to give me some suggestions. All are very good and I will take some time to see if those improve the image. Again thankes for the suggestions and the warnings for my sanity.
