I am trying to change my profile picture.I go through the process and it will have the picture I want as current, but when I go to my profile page it did not change.Can anyone help?

I'd imagine you've just chached the image on your web browser.

Try hitting Ctrl + F5 to do a chachless refresh (everything's downloaded).
