How did you do these?
Using gaussian blur on different layer ?
or using Neat Image too much ?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the whole subject

Here's what I see on my monitor. The first one has badly blown highlights made worse, but the eyes are, well, dreamy!! Just beautiful in fact. I am also picking up some weird color glows of various colors. The second one I also see more slight colors glows, the face is softened, but the eyes stand out boldly. Maybe too boldly to be in sync with the rest of the picture. Hope this helps.

In the second image, the lips and surrounding area get a lot of blur while the eyes don't, which make them too prominent.

I concur.

Not very useful as a plugin, I am guessing. Just thought I'd play with it a bit! Maybe a different subject would look better with the dreamy effect. Thanks, y'all!

Laurie - was that a free download of the one used in the wedding pics posted the other day? Or is it in your PS? Just curious.

I quite like the Dreamy Photo plug-in when the effect is not over-done.

nsoroma79 used it to good effect in this photo:

I also used it in these photos :

Kiwiness had some photos of a Russian girl named Katja that were spectacular where he also used Dreamy Photo to good effect. Unfortunately they're not in his portfolio any more... =[
