Palindromes and onomatopoeiacal comments are some of the most auspicious of postings. Factor in the the kabbalistic and numerological aspects and you're onto a winner. I wish i had more of them.

sometimes what comes around goes around, you've been here since 2005 and only handed out 1433 comments, maybe you should start there. |

So what? I have been here since 2004 and have made way less comments than that and don't feel the least inclined to make any most of the time. Besides, comments like LOL truly aren't worth that much in my view.

Only 1433 comments? Not to mention he's handed out four comments for every one he's received. That's commendable. |

I didn't see you start a thread complaining about bad comments either, just giving him a possibility. But for what its worth, I think you too are missing out on one of the better aspects of this site. |

No worries Jason, just trying to make the point that like most of us, I enjoy getting comments. weither you liked my photo or not, I think it's just human decency to explain what you liked or didn't like about the photo if your going to comment. Not even saying that I think everyone should comment. I know I for one need to comment more often ;)

any comment is a good comment...gives me a better idea what viewer is thinking. Often I see people wondering about 1's or 2's...or 10', " WTF" or "hah" is someone who said what they are thinking looking at your image. May be cryptic but its less cryptic than "1"
People complaining about the comments will as result get less of them, as will everyone else.
please, don't scare the commentators away, there isn't that many of them left . |
