Uhm no.

I would but it's pretty obvious that I'm lazy

My head hurts just thinking about it. I need a nap. Have fun with your papers, guys.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with MLA...every class I've ever been in has wanted APA.

You could write about the growing trend of individuals and companies using social networking to crowd source work rather than doing it themselves.... :-)

That made me dizzy. I think my grade is high enough to take the 0 and still pass with a B. Sounds easier.

ok...what a "MLA" and who has a "APA" to write (whatever that is!!)

This coming from the person that thought "LOL" was "Lots of Love" not "Laugh Out Loud" and didn't understand why every was saying that to each other...oh and maybe I should add I just came to the realization what Art's "Last Name" means...only took me 2 years...I'm sooooo dumb with this stuff...I fail at "text" language.

I'm sooooo glad to be done, done, done with school...there isn't enough $$ in this world to make me go back...hat's off to ya'll

now that should give you a good chuckle

MLA = Modern Language Association

APA = American Psychological Association

What's being referred to is style guides that tell you how your research paper must be constructed. MLA is generally used by literature departments and such, APA in the sciences. Of which Sociology is considered one. I'm surprised a sociology class isn't using APA, actually.

Throw the Bluebook of citation in the mix, and you have yourself a party.

Worst style I have written in was Chicago style. An 8 page paper with footnotes was rough to learn how to do.

But good news is... 3 pages down on my paper.. Second half tomorrow! :)

MLA format is so stupid. atleast personally i see no reason to learn it. its just an annoying way to make sure every paragraph has a beginning and end, and all your points are supported. I haven't used it in two years. thank god the online school i attended for my last year of school did not force it. Creative writing was a joy since there was no need for an actual format. I still think that MLA is not needed.

oh and every paragraph (atleast in 10th grade) needed atleast 5-7 sentences. oh joy.

So yeah, I'm not writing a paper. I'll take the knock on my grade. Never understood the point of term papers anyway
