Hey everyone, I joined back in 03 when I was around 14 years old. 21 now and decided to check out the site and I think I'll start participating in challenges again. Quick question, what's changed around here since then?

Welcome back Harrison.

You missed the DPC anniversary...Langdon bought everyone on DPC an SLR with a pro lens. I doubt he'll do that again though.

I have come back recently after a four year absence. IMHO the level of competition is a bit stiffer than it once was. There are still a lot of great guys and gals willing to help and answer questions. Still fun!

Since you aren't a member I grabbed one of your Yosemite shots and put in in my workshop so others could be encouraged to follow the links, good stuff there.

The editing rules have gotten a bit tighter (that's what they say, I guess.) Especially the pre-existing artwork rule.

Oh -- the biggest change is that you're no longer supposed to use the numbers 1-6 when voting. You're only allowed to vote 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s!

Welcome back. Grab a cold one from the cooler and pull up a piece of floor to sit on. We have some boxes to sit on, but I'm afraid those are reserved for the ribbon hogs. There's also a single folding chair, but Art & Slippy are always fighting over it, so I would not suggest getting involved.

Welcome back! It is OK to embed images hosted elsewhere if they are less than 500 pixels wide. If the image is wider than that please use a text link or a thumbnail image which links back to the original.
