I rushed home for my lunch hour to wait for the ups man to deliver my light. My hour has stretched into 2 hours and he still hasn't shown up. grrrrrr. I put the wrong zip on my address so I didn't get the light on Friday for the weekend, and now I won't have it tonight. grrrrrr. He probably thinks I'm on my old schedule and won't show up till 4.
In the meantime I worked on my alternate for the freedom challenge. I forgot I did it and didn't look at it till today. If anyone has a few minutes, feedback is welcome. I'm in a black mood lately and have been taking dark pictures. Thanks.

I have to go back to work now.

My waits over. Just got my new memory card shipped to work today. Missed the delivery on Friday, only 128mb, but it sure is better than the 16mb one that came with the camera I've been using.

My UPS guy doesn't EVER show up until at least 6pm. If I worked outside the home I guess I'd be happy with that but I don't so it always irritates me to no end! I wonder what he thinks about all the B&H packages he delivers to my door?

grigrigirl, I ordered a cyberFlash. It's a flat panel flash 300w with flicker free flourescence(sp) modeling bulbs. I think I will like it because with such a large surface no soft box is needed. And because no softbox is needed, the actual light output is stronger than a regular flash. Also it can be positioned horizontally and used to flash up from below products. I started a thread about it a while ago and included a link. If this one works, I'll order their hot shoe mount eFlash and most likely the larger digitFlash. I'll be able to use the eflash on camera with my sigma super dg as a slave when I decide to do location stuff, if I ever feel confident enough.
It's here!!! I got a 5x7 foot collaspable background too. I popped it up and can't figure out how to get it back to the small size. hehe
Gotta go now.
