Warm Colors I

Yes, I remember the first one well. Some people thought that the topic was to convey warmth and my orangey-brown squirrel got DNMC comments for not conveying warmth.

Ahhh I think squirrels convey warmth, Love. They warm up the temper of my birds when they Love to seal the bird seed! ;p

My entry for Warm Colors I is my lowest scoring entry in my profile. The fault was mine, for being a totally clueless photographer back then.

Now more than two years later, my favorite model and I have come a long way, and have submitted better photos to DPC challenges. I have gone for the brown in one challenge, and have tried for another brown in another, hoping to make this photo NOT my lowest scoring photo anymore, but the voters had been generous.

Now if I cannot beat this photo with a lower score, without intentionally submitting crappy photos, I will try to negate its effect by coming up with a PB.

So that's it. I have set my goal.

Same challenge, same model, same photographer.

Turn the PW into a PB.

Hi i would like to improve my overall score of 5.xxx challenge entry and i was wondering if someone could be kind enough to look at my picture i want to submit to warm colors (no editing yet) and tell me what should i edit or change (lightning camera setting etc)

I think this is the best way to learn :)

I moved this request to the good forum... my bad ;)

Color Temperature Explained

Nice Reading on it, Since the Challenge doesn't mention Primary warm color or Pure warm color .. Do you think this color schema is good Red yellow Orange + Wood ?
