I found a Nikon AF Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D Lens on Ebay for $775.00 Please take a look and let me know what you think,please.

Keep an eye on FM.com for those. They go anywhere from 750-850 all the time. And you can find one from a reputable member of the community and not have to worry about the Ebay issues.

Yeah, the price isn't phenomenal enough for me to be suspect. Just to throw it out there... I know your D50 has an AF motor, but if you were to upgrade to several other newer entry level Nikons, the AF on this lens would not be functional. There is also an 80-200 AFS model out there if this is a concern to you, but it does run a bit higher.

I recently sold over 20K worth of equipment there. Most of which I had bought on the site. I have over 100 transactions on the site. They have a feedback system there so you can "check references" just find and deal with someone with good feedback and you should be fine.
