OK, so...I'm working nights, so when I'm not working, I'm up all night and I don't exactly have much to do at 3 in the morning. I have been going through my Egypt pictures and I found some good photos I may have overlooked before. I hope you enjoy them and I want to know what you think.

Great images of Karnak and Thebes. I am jealous, I have always wanted to go to Egypt. Highly fascinated with the culture. I collect anything I can get of the artifacts. I would sell these, they are good, and not many people have access to quality photos here in the states. Great job!

Here I am at 3:20 looking at photos when I should be resting for our 3rd LA DPC meet. But these are fantastic! I agree, the Karnak and Thebes pictures are very good!

I do want to make a comment on elephantine island5. That is a good composition overall but I prefer to have the point of view (especially when taking pictures of children) to be at their eye level like you did in elephantine island6. Just my personal preference. Good work!

Hi June !

Thank you for sharing those nice pics ! Aswan spices photos bring me back good memories ... I visited Egypt in 1998 when there was "troubles" but no turists , it was a magic travel !
A big THANK YOU !

Looking at the pics reminds me of the trip we took this past December to Egypt. I posted some of my favorites here... Egypt Pics First three I think are good enough for prints, don't know about the rest.

We went the first two weeks in December, and there were absolutely NO crowds anywhere we went. What was even better, is that we booked it with a local Belarussian Tour Agency here in Minsk, and just told them we wanted all of the excursions with an English guide. When we arrived (with a bunch of Russians), they separated us from them, and we had private guides wherever we went. On our Nile River cruise, we were on a totally separate ship with only 20 or so French Tourists (boat could hold 150 or so). So it was a fantastic trip.

Hey, gusy! Thanks for all your replies. You know, in hindsight, I regret my decision to take only my Kodak DX4900 to Egypt. I didnt'want the "bulk" of my Minolta Dimage7i, so i left it home. I did't have the Rebel them. The quality of the pics suffered because if my decision. They are fine for small prints, prolly up to 8x10, but they have too much noise for anything bigger. On second thought...I wish I had the the Digital Rebel!
