History â�� Free Study Score vs. Position Occurrence

I actually have two discussions left to post if anybody s still listening but decided to throw in a bonus one because thereâ��s a Free Study in voting right now.

We discussed already what the historical occurrences of score vs. position

However, we didnâ��t look at Free Study only data. For those that are interested this is what the historical data tells us the likely occurrences to make the top 20 are in a Free Study.

This table is a little different than the previous posts. Here I used a cumulative approach. So for example, a 7.0 score has finished in a Free Study first place 3.1% of the time but it has finished in the top ten 82.0% and in the top twenty 97.6% of the time.

That is an interesting stat. In Free Study, a score of 7.0 will land you in the ribbons less than 20% of the time! That is some intense competition!

Yes, intense indeed. The average scores for the Free Study ribbons are:

Blue - 7.4553
Red - 7.2587
Yellow - 7.1735

And a score of 6.5 won't land you in the TOP20 either. Certainly puts even getting into the Top10 in a Free Study into perspective.

Actually you have a 3.9% change of making the top 20 with a 6.5 :-p
