in adv. editing challenge can you take a pic and the cover the lens and move the cam and then uncover the lens again so there is 2 movements in the photo? |

As long as you don't layer two photos you'll be ok. This is legal since you are only taking one photograph. You need to be able to prove it, which shouldn't be a problem is you provide the original.

Edit. You know, I never thought of this, but now that you mention it, I wonder if it actually works. I'm gonna try it and see for myself.

Yes, you may. This may be done in a basic challenge as well. As far as the editing portion of the rules is concerned, any effect achieved in-camera is legal under both rule sets.
