Well I've received my first batch of Nikon gear. My D3s, D700 and grip, and my 24-70 and 70-200 arrived today as well as a couple of SB900 flashes. There are some BIG differences between the two systems. First these lenses zoom backwards! But I think I'll get the hang of them. At least I better I have to work Basketball tournaments tomorrow and Friday!

BTW just a few items left in my Canon sale.

1DMKIV
300MM F2.8
100F2
180MM Sigma Macro
EM-140 Macro ring flash.

Luke, I am your Father. ROFL!!!

haha. It's still so weird to see you with a Nikon under your name.

I look forward to you selling and trying nikon gear now! :)
Let us know what you think of high iso noise and focusing comparisons between the two evil empires.

Just don't send Godzilla after me, and we are still cool. :D

Hey Matt. I've been eyeing the D3s. Send me a PM after you've had a chance to play with it a bit.

I'm still not sure that I'm speaking to you -- but until I decide, how much is your ring flash going for?

$325 shipped including the extra filter adapter I bought to go with it.

I think I'll probably go for a tele-extender instead, but I'd be interested in looking a little closer at the ring flash if you want to put a link in to something (I'm heading out right now, but I can look more in the morning.)

Sigma at B&H

The only teleconverter I have left right now is the Canon 2X II. The ringflash has the two standard size adapters and I bought one more. It has a 55MM 58MM at 72MM adapter with it now.

My first thought was, "Whoa...". My second thought, because Matt cycles through gear so fast was, "Sweet, hand-me-downs!" Finally the Buy and Sell forum section will actually have Nikon gear in it!

Ha; I hadn't even thought of that- good point.
Though, FWIW, you can find Nikon stuff here SOMETIMES...you just gotta pounce fast. I've picked up 3 lenses from members.

Full frame camera that has fast FPS is the main reason.
