*sigh* well, I'm pretty sure potatoes aren't a fruit, they grow underground. So maybe I'll use a potato...or any other of a number of tubers.

As to where to get a rubber ducky, they have them at amazon:
//www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=rubber+ducky&x=0&y=0

for 3 bucks. I suppose that they sell them through amazon.fr or amazon.de where in any case you can get books with plenty of the yellow devils.
Good luck!

I'm sure that potatoes are vegetables ---several websites confirm that.

only 18 entries? I might have a shot at this one. Top 20 for sure!

I'm in but I'm going to try to reshoot it tomorrow. I like it, but even though I used three light sources only 1 is obvious.

Will a goose in a wetsuit be DQ'd?

Yes it should only be a DNMC unlike the first Ducky challenge where there was the extra rule set:

Extra Rules
Failure to meet the challenge should result in DQ. Also note that this speed challenge is open to all members..

Some 15 entries were DQed.

I was keen to enter this.
Went out and got a duck and a couple of other things for the shoot.
Had a couple of idea that I was going to shoot.
Then realized that I hadn't read the full description for the comp.

Wow, three light sources and three extra elements.
Just can't seem to think of anything that incorporates all this.

I'll have to hold onto the duck until next time.

did my entry last night, at midnight, when the kids were sleeping. I was happy with the output, only to realize that i forgot to include a rope or string.

re-shoot this afternoon when the kids were awake, and it was total chaos. My four-year old won't let go of the ducky, and the elder one keeps asking if im done with the other props, and says i should not be playing with my vegetables.

Kids are fun, aren't they? :)

I guess not, but if people can't "see" them, they'll probably vote down. ;(

yeah but....but....if daylight and flash are two of them?

I have two fairly obvious light sources, the third is very light bahahahaaaaaa....might reshoot it just to accentuate the third one a little more, if I can do so without ruining the effect.

That's what 2 of mine are, the third is a flashlight. You can tell it's daytime, but you can't tell about the other two. I may just leave it and get what I get. LOL!

Looking at the last challenge there were many high scoring shots where 3 light sources were not obvious.

OK, I'm in. I simply couldn't resist the extreme silliness required to meet the challenge description ;-)

I am in too. I felt like being back in the kindergarten! Great!

Just finished uploading my entry, very happy with it. Very much looking forward to seeing the other entries, hope others had as much fun with it as I did!

In this challenge I will be voting using the following criteria:
1. type of laughter - hysterical, a chuckle, full belly etc
2. length of laughter
3. do I still laugh on 2nd, 3rd pass?
etc ;)

I think if you have all the other elements and it is photographed well, most people won't care too much about light sources. If you can get them great, if not no worries.

A tragic rubber ducky? That will be double fun ;)
eg.
"Ducky on the edge of abyss, with sun setting in the background and car headlights glowing, little rope dangling in the wind, a single red rose at his feet..
and Brussels sprouts for dinner again! And so he jumps."
etc
