You may all already know this, but I didnt and it was so cool to discover.
I visited our local drive through wildlife park this weekend and took this picture of a tiger on my first drive through.
On the second drive through the same tiger was sleeping further back from the fence and I took this picture. The chain link fence totally disappeared when I focused on him.
Both pictures were taken through my rolled up car window too.
I also had an intimate moment with an elephant while I was there. She was looking me right in the eyes and I swear she was trying to communicate with me. She needs to be seen in a larger photo so shes on pbase.

cool! Another tip is when shooting moving objects like your first shot, if you shoot in sports mode, the focal points will follow your moving target! Pretty cool!

Nice shots, Faye. I LOVE the elephant one...but she looks SO incredibly sad...esp. with one missing tusk, her ears hangin', and her trunk drooped over the fence. :-(
Great tiger shots, too. Blurring also has something to do with the f-stop. The smaller the aperture number (like f4), the more blur you'll get. The larger the number (f22) the less blur.
