Welcome aboard! But it's not fair that you are scoring higher than I am :-( (just teasing you) But welcome anyway, can't wait to see more of your pictures as the months go on.

You have rated 26 of 52 images (50%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 26 of 52 images (50%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.1538.

Commented on the first half tonight and will do the rest tomorrow.
I hope a mob doesn't hunt me down, I was brutally honest...and by that I mean I was very honest, hopefully not actually brutal. Tried to put it in a compliment sandwich whenever possible, but that is easier for some pictures than for others.
Bed time :-)

What is the etiquette? If the comment contains a question can I/should I reply directly to the commentator?
12/17/2010 07:43:56 AM · #37
Best to wait until the challenge is over. You can do what you like, of course.

I'll sometimes PM the person during the challenge, but it depends on some variables. You don't want to come off as if you are trying to influence them to change a vote.

100 vote check in for me.

close enough to 100. My score has recovered from the 4's but still a bit of a sad looking score. Not good, not bad just meh.

P.S. I received the same Spanish comment, just ran it through my translator on my google tool bar, there is also a spell check on there too, I highly recommend the google toolbar if you don't have it.

Some fairly lazy photography here. Street type photography isn't just point and shoot, it needs to be as thought-out as a studio shot.

Agree on the general concept about it needing to be thought out, however I certainly don't agree that "lazy" is what was going on here. What I found when I went out to shoot for this is that it is a topic that sounded almost too easy, but in actual fact, it was difficult to get an image that didn't look snapshotty. Just because it did not come off well, does not mean there was a lack of effort behind it.

Oh, aye, there are always the slackers. Do point them out and I will shoot them.

Just got hit by a last hour 1-bomber. I wonder what he didn't like that I was being punished for?
