So as the question of speed challenges was raised recently, and some of them used to be fun where you had to include a variety of named objects in the picture - how about combining it with the Godzilla side challenge that was run last year where that nice Art Roflmao supplied some standard Godzilla pics for people to use in their own pictures ?

I know it would be different to normal, but one or two pics of godzilla could be hosted on DPC and the challenge would be to combine it with a shot of your own to create a new and humorous shot within 24 hours. It would clearly need to be expert editing with a special 'one off' rule to allow the montage - but it could be a lot of fun.

Thoughts ?

Here is the Side challenge link link - step through a couple of pages and I'm sure you will get the idea :- )

I'd combine it with the previous suggestion of a Star Trek challenge.

The last speed challenge was too specific..

I couldn't source any children to save my life that week..

I would prefer to have an accessible subject..

This one would be perfect for you then - you have the main subject matter given to you and simply have to give the backdrop / context to the shot. Indoors, Outdoors, candid, zoo whatever you want - just get the big guy in the shot seamlessly so the picture makes sense.
