Here is mine. I still don't understand what warranted the low score.
Fit the challenge, in focus, properly exposed, but still a 4.6?

Everyone complained about the composition, but I had several other shots of the same boat with the whole sails in it, or located in different places in the frame, and this one was by far my favorite. I liked the feeling of the boat entering the frame and then traveling into the open space.

I won't say that I love this photo cause I am kind of ambivalent compared to some of my other photos. But gosh dang it, I will defend the composition to the death. I like it!

Some liked it, most hated it.

Shot at this woman's wedding which took place at in an apple orchard, I just loved the colors and the way her arm and the tree branch took the same line. The groom really liked it, and so did I. DPC says....NO!

Usually I go back to my lower scoring images and think, "yes, I can see why that didn't do well." This one I loved from the start and still love, despite the score. I never got any comments on it, so I'm still unsure what people didn't like about it.

An incredibly lucky shot, it just didn't meet the voters' expectations of a "Branch" and the bad weather aspect didn't help either. But I had to show it off, anyhow.

The third is probably my favorite shot ever taken. My prairie shots are yet to get above a 5.8.

It was a 5.3, so it didn't necessarily tank -- but I really liked the shot and still do. I thought it would do better. (it definitely was a candid, btw.) :)
