I was at the Seattle Center today shooting, my big nose bumped my color setting to B/W mode by accident. The resulting shot was amazing. Kind of nice not having to convert this image.

The great range of gray, white and black makes it pleasing for the eye, thus a good b/w image.
Happy mistakes are always great. |

GREAT image...If my creaking old memory serves, someone took a shot something like this of this sculpture and ran away with a ribbon. But that's only if memory serves. For all I know, it was a different sculpture, and it didn't win a ribbon at all.
Just saying... ;-)

ROFLMAO...so you took both shots? That's too funny! But yes, that's the shot I remembered. One of my absolute all time favorites on DPC ever. I also remember thinking I'd entered a pretty decent shot in that challenge, and then I came across yours, and I could only stammer. Damn fine shot.

One the back of the Fuji S2, next to the viewer is the contols for color, white balance, etc. I found out when I get real close to my camera, my nose will bump the buttons. I will have to start using the controll lock. |
