Just back from vacation and wanted to know everyone's thoughts on the Ad Challenge. Do you insert text on this one to make it like an ad, even though it is a basic editing challenge? Use your title as the ad wording? Or just let the photo communicate for itself? Thanks for all input and it is great to be back, even if my June Open is doing lousy! LOL

Welcome home! Hope you had a good trip and took lots of pictures!

You can't add text...but if it's in the photo itself it's OK I believe...I just made the ad text my title.

Can't wait to see your pictures! :o)

Thanks Laurie! I am just finishing uploading all my pictures. Have fun on your trips!!! Hey, where did you get the cute gif animations? So, you don't use text like the challenge they actually made it look like a magazine cover, but just let your title "say it", right? Have fun! I'll post some pictures if I ever get through editing them all!!!

I got the smilies from a program called (appropriately enough) Get Smile at this web site. I had the free demo and loved it enough to pay the 19 bucks for the whole thing.

Yes, I just made the title my ad text, as it would be if I were to put it on the ad itself.

I can't wait 'til Monday...except I will be trapped in the car for 5 hours with three boys, a husband, and a male dog...maybe it's not such a good idea anymore...
