took the camera to work.....hazards of working at an spca - subject matter usually includes animals :P I love the way you can't force them to pose......and if you try it shows.

as usual.....any thoughts, comments, ideas to improve - ultimate goal is to get the images good enough to use for fundraising.

'Innocent Baby' ....couldn't work out how to get rid of the red of the bed in the bottom left corner. Tried cloning it out but that looked worse and very messy!

The brighter version looks much better. Maybe move out a little with the sleeping one? It shouldn't take a long time to catch him sleeping again! You could desaturate the blanket to get rid of the color.

Much better. That's a beautiful shot : )
I'm less keen on the sleeping one - there's no strong focal point to hook the viewer. The suggestion to move out a little is well worth trying.

thanks :) been trying to get one of the pup when he's awake but he zooms round like a mini-tornado! It's winter here and lousy light most of the time so w/out using flash I'm not getting very good results. Will keep trying.
