We had a challenge a while back where we took either our own, or another DPCer's first entry and tried to recreate it making it better.
I'd like a similar challenge, but with a twist...instead of our first, or another DPCers ...make it the worst (lowest scoring)
Anyone else like this? |

I'd probably sit that one out. I really can't improve on this magnificent work of art.

We've already had a couple Brown Ribbon Deja Vu challenges...
One in 2008 and one in 2009 ΓΆ€” so maybe we can make it an annual tradition? Or do you think this idea is different enough from Brown Ribbon Deja Vu to stand on its own? From my perspective, the advantage of the Brown Ribbon version is it's easy to see the worst entry in every challenge; not so easy to see the worst entry ever by every photographer...
Anyway I like these kinda challenges; maybe because I have a 10th and a 13th in them?

It would also be rather subjective. While it's easy to identify the last place image, determining which is "worse" isn't quite so clear. Based on what, for instance? |

I was assuming lowest score, not really the worst. |

That is what I would think...
For instance my lowest scoring image Had more 6+ votes then several of the shots that finished higher but it was such a small target audience it almost got the brown. That and most people didn't see the parallel lines that I imagined in my vision. |

Your assumption would be correct. Maybe instead of Best to Worst, call it Lowest Score Adjustment.
"Take your lowest scoring image, or the lowest scoring image from another DPCer and re-create it in hopes of a higher score." |

I'd love that challenge, since my only brown was definitely not my worst image :) |

My own lowest score is one of my better images, IMO:
