I have recently gotten started with the Photo A Day project and I haven't missed a day so far. It's been an enjoyable experience so far. It's reminding me that it's ok to make snapshots. As a serious photographer, I don't normally like to show my snapshots. A lot of them are rather meaningless to anyone who is not part of the theme anyway.

Anyway....

"Crossing Paths" is going to be a similar project to the "Photo A Day" theme but a daily photo is not required. During our daily lives, we encounter people who we don't really know. The objective of this project is to photograph some of these people. Some possible subject would be bank tellers, convenient store clerks, grocery store cashiers, retail employees, people who stop me to ask questions when I'm out shooting somewhere, the mail man, the pizza deliver guy... the list goes on. The only catch is that you can't photograph just any random person. Whoever you photograph has to be someone you have had an interaction with. There is no minimum requirement I'm setting for myself. I would simply like to see if I can come up with photos of over 200 people. There is no timeframe either...

I don't know if anyone else would be interested in a project like this, but I just thought I would share my idea with the group...

Cheers
