1) good flash because my flash sucks and I'm always cursing it and I just wished I put the money into a good one in the first place, need to replace it.. sigh
2) remote flash trigger, as I'm getting tired of direct flash hits. I would be good to get my flash to the side or above or anywhere other than right in their fase (remember I got a CRAPPY flash)
3) big reflectors, again I ended up getting smaller ones thinking they would be good enough and I saved a few bucks, but whenever I pull them out to help with things they aren't big enough to light everything right.
Basically lighting I skimped on, and really wish I didn't, now I'm finding myself having to save up and rebuy this stuff, would have been better to just get it done right the first time.

1/ a subscription to a photo mag that comes with a photoshop tutorial disc stuck to it.
2/ 10 - 20mm zoom
3/ a copy of 'How to Take Winning Shots in Your Kitchen' by IreneM

Good tripod.
Top quality flash.
Mac Book Pro with all the bells and whistles.
A couple of DPC blues would be nice too, but not very likely. : )

Interesting for me to answer this question because I am new to the enthusiast photographer thing.I had always loved to take pictures but it's different now.
What I would do differently or add to what I have just started gathering is:
1) Studio stuff, mostly lighting so that when the weather isn't good or it's just too cold for me then I could still shoot.
2) Classes on photography to improve my skills and inspire me.
3) Photo Buddy so that when I would rather sleep late, someone else makes sure I go after that dawn shot.
Mostly what I think I would start over with is making sure that I had a great computer to process my pictures, plenty of storage to handle them and training to make them sing.
That would be 3 things times 2.
