There is some absolutely stunning work here, folks. Well done, in general.

Ditto from me everyone - some awesome images. Everyone should be congratulated.

not me boooooooo.

ITs hard when you print the image and have people want to purchase it, then come here and have it score a 5!

Don't take it personally.. Some images do not translate to the web. I have any number of images, that look great printed,, and large. That really stink when loaded at the sizes required here.

I am sitting at a 5.0something too with not a single comment. :(

I hear ya. I submitted my picture because of all the "wow" comments I got and print requests as well. However, my score right now is exactly my overall average score. *sigh*...oh well.

I agree... there are some awesome pictures. There is one in particular that just blows me away. If it isn't in the top three then there is something seriously wrong here...

Which would be considered a more accurate guage of an image's quality-- print requests or scoring high in a dpc challenge?

That's right around your average lately. I'm at 6.2 for the Free Study, but could manage a top-5 finish in the portrait challenge. :-D

Ugh.... I'll be lucky if I break a 4.5. Could possibly turn out to be my lowest score ever... Oh well, that's what I get for trying to make something look more abstract than it really is. :-)

Especially with all these great shots! Well at least I get some good viewing pleasure out of all your entries. :)

I am totally blown away by the photos I have been rating. Great job everyone. I have been trying to rate photos as I would if it were my own. Lots of 8s, 9s, and 10s.

I agree, lots and lots of great images! It's fun to have so many up in the 8,9,10 range!

My other thought to this challenge is, wow, what a lot of bumblebees and seagulls!!! Is it because this is a summer challenge? LOL!
