Has anybody had any issues logging into DPC from their iPhone? My iPhone was just replaced by a new one (3G S) because the other one broke. Now when I go to the DPC bookmark and try to log in, the log in page shows up again. I set my settings to save cookies from sites visited to see if that helped and it didn't.
Any ideas?? |

Thanks Mark. I was afraid that it was something to do with the new phone and settings and not the site. |

Might I ask if there are any suggested settings in the safari part of the phone settings that I should use? I might not have it set up right. I just picked it up this afternoon. I can't recall my settings for Safari on my old phone. |

To be honest it should just work out of the box.
Try deleting the bookmark. I have the same setting as you regarding the cookies, so thats one suggestion I cant make. Not sure why you are getting a problem. I can imagine its annoying logging in each time though. |

The site's home page opens. Has the sign in or register things at the top right. I click the sign in tab and it takes me to the sign in page. I fill in my Username and Password and click login and it takes me back to the site's home page with the same 'login or register' tabs at the top of the page. Wierd

I usually just connect to the web in 3G I rarely use WiFi when I'm at home. Another weird thing happened now. I can't connect to WiFi. Hmm... |

Try resetting it, push the top and the front button simultaneously for 10 seconds, don't let go before then, even when the shutdown dialogue comes up. Then restart. Quite a good fix-all.
Alternatively, network and 3G issues can sometimes be resolved by switching on airplane mode and then switching it back off again.

Sounds like a cookie or cache problem.
Go to the seetings of your iPhone, there will be a safari icon. Tap that and then make sure accept cookies is set (mine say "from visited" which works fine). I would then tap clear cookies and clear cache (this will remove all your login cookies so you'll have to log in again to any other sites). I also have javascript and block pop-ups turned on but I dont think the sites uses javascript to login anyway.
edit: another idea to try - there are other free browsers for iphone... load one up and see if it works which could mean it's a safari specific problem one your phone

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I ended up taking the (new) phone back to the Apple store and the Geniuses fixed it. I have no idea what the deal was but now everything works. I have a feeling that they gave me a demo phone since it had a life usage of 19 days. All is well that ends well. Thanks again for all of the help and support. |
