Thought I had a decent entry, and it is still above a 6 for now, but wow. I expect the front page/Top 10 to all be sevens. Some really incredible images in this one.

Agreed. The voting should be really interesting in this one. I think whether a photo ends up 30th or 130th is completely up for grabs and will largely come down to luck. |

Well, some people are reporting high votes, so there must be something about this that is sub-par, but I can't see it. Thought it was a pretty good shot that was good for a mid to high 5. After 22 votes, the trend is clear.

I really don't understand the DPC voters anymore and I am giving up after this challenge. Just see the downward progression my entry is enjoying.
After 8 votes: 5.9500
After 9 votes: 5.4444
After 10 votes: 5.4000
After 15 votes: 5.2154

Steve, I will let you know when I'm done voting and I might try to comment 100% this time as this group of pictures definitely interest me, I did see alot of the pictures with a ton of noise in them...but you know how to use the noise reducing software so I'm sure it's not you... |

Very surprised at how mine is doing - I ummed and ahhed over two potential entries, and as soon as I woke up in the morning regretted my choice. I may prefer the one I didn't enter, but doubt it would have done nearly as well. I'll enjoy my score while it lasts!

| Sometimes the voting here really amazes me. 2 weeks ago, I had a shot that I considered mediocre come in with a healthy 5.8. This time around, one I think is pretty darn good is having trouble hitting a 5. *sigh* |

Just have a look at how my SkyScape score is EARTHBOUND! I should have entered it in the toilet paper challenge. Might have had a good chance there.
