All, These photo's were taken in January at Sydney's Big Day Out music festival.

The band is "Jet", and this is the lead singer.

What one to use?

Opinions?

Cropping/brightness/contrast suggestions welcome.

use 1003.....the hand adds nothing
06/27/2004 10:42:04 PM · #3
i would use 1003 and get rid of everyone else but the singer.

1003 is my pick with a tighter crop. Nice pic

I wish that bastard didn't put his hand up then. Except for that pointing bloody hand, I really like that shot. The smoke masks out the people side stage enough.

Here we go: 1003 re-cropped. I'll edit out that ugly mug in the background.

And a new contender:

And thanks for keeping the beer in the picture.

Any thoughts on this one??

My obvious thought is cropp off the left a little, but i want to keep as much of the red smoke as possible.

You could crop the right side after the amp.

leave the left alone? or a bit off?
06/27/2004 11:58:50 PM · #24
You could take a bit out from the left too. It would be best if you use the crop tool and adjust until you are happy with the composition.

Um..am I blind? Both of the pictures look exactly the same to me.
