dood! Your cats are too well fed; they need a diet to gain speed and motivation. |

Heh, we got dogs to catch our mice, because the cats never would. |

I used to have a 4-6 mouse hunt every fall as soon as the weather started to get cold, I really hate those little guys and I think they know it and come after me. I was even sleeping one night and woke up to the feeling of a mouse walking on the back side of my hand. I flung my arm and heard the little sucker hit the wall. I got out of bed and set traps all around the room and had it in a trap within an hour. Death to them all!!!!!!!! |
Sounds like you need some NVGs and a pellet rifle. |
I had a friend who would set food at the bottom of his basement stairs and wait for them with a 22 rifle, he was a little crazy...... |
I've done that. Well, with a pellet gun. Put a paper plate with peanut butter on it at the bottom of the stairs, setup a video camera to monitor it at the top of the stairs. I watched the TV and waited. First time: I saw the rat crawl under the closed door, go over to the plate, and then proceed to snatch the whole plate, drag it under the door and haul ass with it back to his hiding place. Second time: I duct taped the plate to the carpet and watched the TV monitor and waited. Saw the rat crawl under the door again, grabbed the pellet pistol and snuck over to the top of the stairs. Looked down, took aim and..... click. The gun misfired and the rat took off. I pointed the gun at the plate again and took a second shot and sure enough it fired. I had the whole thing on video. It was back in 1988BYT. |
Did you catch the part where I said he was a little crazy........? lol, I'm sure it does not apply in your case! |

I was surprised at how surly I was back then. I thought I'd just recently become this grumpy. |

Gawd, no. It's an ongoing condition, possibly even a syndrome :-)

I confess...as the mouse ran to the blue trash can and across the street to FREEDOM...I dabbed a tear. |
