I'm trying to take my time to vote and take into account that it's minimal editing. I find that when I do that, I see more interesting stuff.
Mine is not so interesting to others tho...

I've not looked yet, but I will vote on it like any other challenge.
If they met the challenge without a sentence-title shoehorning.
And if it's a good photograph. There is no concession for minimal editing, a good photo still should have been entered... |

Well, I thought it was pretty darn good, but it keeps going down. Judging from the discussions of voting approaches, I expect this to be a low scoring challenge. Take away our editing tools and we ain't nothin'.

I'm actually surprised to see this as high as it is seeing it was at 3.7 with about 30 votes. I had about five differently themed shots for both Under & Over, which I knew would be more appealing to votes (though none were really that good). I went with the shot that was more challenging to achieve (for me at least) technically, that was not trying to squeeze a title so the shot met the challenge, and that took several days to set up. When I looked at the result of a shot that I've probably put more effort in to achieve despite having no PP, I went - meh! There's no way votes could know of the effort and I couldn't redo the shot so I predicted a high 4's to low 5's. So I'm a little surprised at how badly it's going. I'm starting to suspect my pathetic laptop screen is hiding something that is really hurting the image, though it probably really is just a bad shot that I'm just going to have to learn from.

Right it is on! At least you have a comment! I think if people score low they should comment. It should be compulsory!
I spent ages trying to think of an image. My image isn't great, I took about 30 photos...all of them were rubbish...then it was time to get some sleep so I entered the best of a bad lot.
That'll teach me!. |

i am pleasantly surprised mine is doing as well as this... the Minimal Editing was really a Maximum challenge, but i agree with others that it made me think about the setup, exposure settings, etc.

I think it has to do with the slow site speed. I just finished voting in over, which took me basically all day due to images loading slowly. |
