Hello Bethany,
Would you be interested in doing an American bald eagle? Here is my image of one I took while on an eagle watch this January. I really like your work and think you could do a bang up job on this eagle. Let me know if you are interested.

I would absolutely love to draw the eagle, and that picture you showed me is so gorgeous. For a sketch I don't know if I would be able to use it, mainly because the eagle is so far in the distance that I can't see enough detail...my drawings usually don't do well unless I can see a great amount of detail in the original picture. :) I do love the picture though...it's just beautiful.

I have searched through every single one of the profiles offered, and there are about 3 images that I saw that I thought I would be very interested in sketching. And I am having a hard time deciding...lol

This Hot Air Balloon picture I thought might make a good sketch:

I really do like Konadors sheep. That is such an amazing photograph, but I have the same problem with it as I do with the eagle...I'd love to see one of the sheep closeup to see if I could maybe see enough detail to work with better.

Now, this picture is the one I will probably be going with...but I am still undecided. I love the lighting on this one and think it would make an amazing sketch.
:)

By the way, Bongo, you may be new to photography, but I wouldn't know it from looking at your photos! They are awesome!

P.S. I forgot to mention that whichever picture I choose, when the picture is posted on my site, I will give credit to the photographer and a link to their site on that page. :) Just thought I needed to add that in case it wasn't understood. ;>)

There's a reason I use a camera instead of a pencil. Great work!

You are all so nice! Thank you so much. :)

This picture is so beautiful...I love how the flamingos (sp?) are forming a heart. Gorgeous. :)

Laurie, CONGRATULATIONS on winning with your entry! It is a beautiful photo, and I would love to draw it as well as the other photo that Sher9204 took. Do you think you could possibly send me a little bit bigger version of it through email? Maybe just like 1000 pixels wide...it doesn't have to be outrageously big or anything. ;-)
Thanks so much!

I have to say that this is amazing sketches and also cheap! 200 dollars are not much for the work you put in it!

You have an amazing talent to do those sketches. I don't know if any of mine would be good enough, but you are more than welcome to use any of them if they strike your fancy.

Thank you, Judy! :) I appreciate that...I will be sure to look through your portfolio too. :)

Ben, you are more than welcome to send me the larger image of the sheep. It may be a while before I am able to begin on it, but I just love that picture so much that I might just have to make time for it too eventually! lol :) It's such a cute picture. Thank you so much!

Just remembered that I had taken a lot of photos out of my portfolio, planning to add some new ones. Of course, right now you can't add anything to a portfolio.

I have been starting an album on my yahoo site of photos I want to add to my portfolio when I can. Here's the link to that if you have any interest in looking through them.

Judy, Can you try pasting that link again? I can't seem to pull it up. I'd love to see it. :)

By the way, Konador, I love your profile picture. So full of humor! :)

One difference we can all learn from is the artist's view.

Photographers differ from artists in that we take away, whereas artists leave out. In comparing the two views, I could see a lot more than when just seeing the single interpretation.

Maybe I'm a bit late to jump on this train, but Bethany, you're more than welcome to use anything in my portfolio if you feel so inclined.

I finally got Laurie's picture done...I really don't think it turned out as well as I wanted it to, but I think it will do. :)
Just wanted to post a link!
